Newton Aycliffe hosted 2nd place Whitby in the Durham and Northumberland Division 3 on Saturday 14th November. The early exchanges were even and both sides' quick backs made good runs. Newton Aycliffe Rugby Club returned to Durham and Northumberland Division 3 action by hosting Prudhoe & Stocksfield who are also new to the league this season. Aycliffe had a much changed pack from the first league game, with Deryk Cairns making his first outing of the season in the back row, together with Matt Adkins at hooker, and Jeff Hodgson in 2nd row.
