Following the succes of Bishop Auckland's Rugby Club Falcon's Febuary Coaching Camp last Febuary term they are returning Thursday and Friday the 18/19th of Febuary 2010. The Camp starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm. The cost is £40 for both days. Just dropping this message in to say a big thanks for the suprise award I recieved from the lads before training on Saturday afternoon. It was very much appreciated. I am certain the new team of commitee lads will still do a very good job running the club.rnFinally, just a word about the training, I enjoyed the run out, I dropped less balls than Keefy did, I was amazed how much energy Daz has, I think Blairso is fatter than Keefy now. Seeing so many players past and present at the Presentation evening was absolutely fantastic and a tribute to the strength of NARUFC's spirit. Some definate thanks need to go out to Stuart McLean who masterminded the event ably assisted by Nicola Newman. A brilliant effort with the Video tributes they added a dimension which was fantastic to see. Special thanks to Dale Kelly & Dave Pass for their management of the whole evening. And of course congratulations to all those who won awards especially Andy Newman who won players player hands down again this year!! Rugby is not just a pasttime but a way of life!! The game of rugby continues to be a source of friendship and community spirit for all that are lucky enough to be part of it. Can't wait to the summer camp in August - bring it on!

Just a reminder boys and girls, the fund raising Race Night has been arranged for March the 14th. For those of you who remember when we did it at the Scouts hut can I urge you to plan ahead to put more bums on seats to raise the atmosphere somewhat. If we dont get more than 50 people turn up it may not be worth doing. So we need 30 horses sold at £10 each to start with on a first come first served basis. Can I suggest we knock tickets out at £2 each? One final suggestion,how about the last race being STRIPTEASE race. For every move you make you lose an item of clothing. I've tried not to come onto this board (should it be spelt 'bored' and have a pop at anyone, but in nearly three months - nearly a quarter of the year we've had no craiq, no rugby, and no response to the idea of the race night to raise funds for those going on tour. There will be a discussion on the possibility of a new club emblem, modifying the current emblem or adapting it to reflect the 50th anniversary. Sorry if it was misleading.
